Basic Purpose of
the Job
To implement the plan
and strategies to promote the sales of cars so as to
exploit the market for the product and maximize the
sales and profit, thereby contributing effectively in
meeting or exceeding the department budget.
Responsibilities
-
Provide,
if required, necessary inputs for the formulation
of budget, such as current market demand and trend
and pricing structure of the competitor’s
products.

Interact
with the existing as well as prospective customers
to establish healthy and profitable relationship
and also find out their present and future demand
to be prepared to meet them in time.

Negotiate
with the customer the price of the vehicle and settles
for the best selling price within the prescribed
limits so as to finalize the deal and enhance the
customer base.

Ensure
full settlement of the selling price, issue the
sales invoice and inform the sales coordinator to
issue the corresponding police letter to transfer
the car ownership title to the customer’s
name.

Keep track
of the competitor’s business strategies such
as their pricing structure, discount policy, so
as to be able to built up his own strategy to gain
customer acceptance for purchase of the car.

Handle
customer complains such as failure to meet the agreed
deadlines or complains against vehicle performance
and / or features. Explain to the customers the
reason and redress their grievances to satisfy them
so as to maintain their satisfaction of and loyalty
to the product.
